It appears that the only way for a user to put an image directly in-line in a forum post is to specinfy a URL to an image that is on an external server. Is that correct?

Do any of your available editors or versions of fusetalk provide a means where a user can actually upload an image to the forums server and then have the image display in the message?

The problem with having the user specify an external url to an image is that over time the user's site may go away and then the forums are left with broken URLS referencing non-existant images. I'd rather eat the cost of the disk space needed to host the images on the forums server and then at least that way over the course of the years those images referenced in the postings are always available.

Hi there, the only way you can attach images at this time is to attach them as files, where the links would link to the images.

As an update, the images can either be attached as files, and could be shown inline with the message post or as a link (choice determined by the administrator of the forum).  Alternatively, you can enter a path to the image by clicking on the image icon in the editor toolbar, as demonstrated below.
